International Students

Come Together

Every year we are welcoming our international students in a friendly "come-together", a two hour session in the beginning of the semester. Our intention is to establish a first contact amongst incoming students, students from TU Berlin and our department.

Prof. von Hirschhausen, head of the workgroup for economic and infrastructure policy (WIP) at TUB and program responsible for several exchange programs, will provide you with useful information about the university, the study course "Industrial Engineering and Management" and the study processes in general.

Of course we are open for all kind of questions, remarks or feedback.

The next come-together is

to be announced

We are looking forward to meeting you soon and WELCOME TO BERLIN!

How to apply at TU Berlin

In order to apply for an exchange semester at the TU Berlin it would be great if you could fill in the forms you find can find here (if you are taking part in the ERASMUS-Program) or here (if you are from overseas). Please have the documents stamped and send through your exchange coordinator to TU Berlin's International Office.

An English course list is available from our study information web site, please click here. In case you cannot find anything of interest for you on this list or you also plan to attend courses held in German please click here. Click on "Suche nach Veranstaltungen" and you will have the opportunity to look for specific courses if you choose certain information like day, time or language. You should be able to find all courses offered in English and German and in the different departments on this site. For every course you will find a short description including the ECTS credits or SWS (attended work hours per week) students receive for their successful attendance.

For further information please turn to the academic advising units which you can find here. So if you have individual questions try to contact them directly since I am unfortunately not familiar with the contents and requirements of all courses offered at TU Berlin in detail.

Further information about courses and studying at TUB in general can be obtained by TU Berlin's Studienberatung (academic counselling) under: studienberatung@tu-berlin.de

Additionally please have a look at the very informative Studienberatung's website.

Since usually no online registration is necessary (unless specifically mentioned) you just show up at the first day of instruction and maybe then have to put your name on a list. We reckon it would also be a good idea to talk to the professor or lecturer and let them know that you are exchange students and therefore might need more time or help due to the language obstacle.

For information about specific courses, their contents and requirements please tick this link. For further information or specific questions click here to find the academic advising units. We hope this information is helpful and will make the scheduling of your courses and the start of your studies a bit easier!
